Visual artist Karina Puuffin steps away from her practice and offers children the opportunity to take over her place.

The show **"My child could make that"** humorously reflects on the frequently used phrase, which often serves a purpose to express a sense of scepticism and confusion regarding the artistic value or complexity of the work. By asking kids to have fun in the presentation space, Puuffin is aiming to redefine the traditional notions of art display and poke fun at the pretentiousness of the art world. The exhibition invites viewers to engage with the surroundings through a lens of curiosity and open-mindedness, emphasising the importance of embracing childlike wonder, creativity, and joy in our encounters with art. It challenges the conventional hierarchy of artistic merit and encourages people to reexamine their preconceptions about what constitutes “good” art, showing that _childlikeness_ in art is not at all a bad quality.

“Are you still there?” is a bittersweet, nostalgic and naive reincarnation of the artist's childhood drawing that she used to make together with her grandmother, who currently lives under Russian occupation. As there is no internet and often no electricity in her hometown, the only means of communication are telephone calls and short conversations, the phrases from which were taken and hidden on the walls of the room. The exhibition uses lively and playful language to talk about reminiscence, the feeling of a lack of something that you can not really grasp and a sense of longing for the past and acknowledgment of the present.
